«ISST» designed the GLONASS base station in Irkutsk

From April to June 2018, the staff of the «Institute of Modern Construction Technologies» conducted design work on the arrangement of an experimental and technical site for the location of the laser station of the GLONASS system in the city of Irkutsk.

The design was carried out by order of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Physical, Technical and Radiotechnical Measurements, one of the leading national metrology institutes in Russia.

The Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) is a Russian satellite navigation system, one of the two fully functioning global satellite navigation systems on a par with GPS.
