ISST is designing a GLONASS base station in Irkutsk, Russia

Institute of Modern Construction Technologies (ISST) signed a contract for design works to engineer an experimental and technical platform for a GLONASS laser station in Irkutsk city, RUSSIA.

The design works will be carried out by order of the «All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Physical, Technical and Radiotechnical Measurements» (www.vniiftri.ru) — one of Russia’s leading national metrology institutes. ISST will complete the works under the contract by the end of May 2018.

The Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) is a Russian satellite navigation system, one of the two fully functioning global satellite navigation systems on a par with GPS.
